In-office whitening begins by placing a whitening agent on your teeth. Your gums will be protected with a gel designed to prevent irritation. Once the whitening agent is applied to your teeth, we will treat it with a special light that activates the whitening gel. This process will be repeated several times until your teeth have reached the shade you like.

Take-Home Professional Teeth Whitening

Take-home professional teeth whitening may be perfect for you if you are looking for a more affordable option or for a whitening system you can use on your own time.

Most take-home whitening systems can be used during the day or at night for additional convenience. That way, you can choose to whiten whenever it fits into your schedule.

Take-home whitening is easy. First, we will create custom whitening trays for you. Your trays will fit snugly and perfectly over your teeth. Dr. Gonzales will consult with you about what gel will work best to help you achieve the results you desire. Once you have your whitening gel, you can place a small drop for each tooth in your whitening trays. It is important not to use too much gel because if it overflows from the tray, it may irritate your gums.

At your whitening evaluation, our Ever Care Dental team will talk to you about how long to wear your trays for each treatment. Once you achieve your desired shade, you can keep your trays for future touch-ups, if they become necessary.
