Dr. Alyssa-Rae Mita, DDS, MS

Dr. Mita was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska obtaining her Bachelor of Science. She remained in Omaha to complete both a Master's in Health Sciences as well as her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Shortly thereafter, she moved to New York to pursue additional education by attending the residency program at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Manhattan. 

Dr. Mita believes in quality and comprehensive care, while creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients to feel comfortable.  She believes in educating her patients so they can understand the best treatment options. Dr. Mita has received additional training in oral surgery, prosthetics, cosmetics, and dental trauma while working with the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery team at Mount Sinai and Elmhurst hospitals. 

Outside of work, Dr. Mita enjoys traveling and exploring the great outdoors. When she's back home in Hawai’i, she cherishes time with her family and friends. Dr. Mita is an active member of the New York State Dental Associate and American Dental Association. She loves being a dentist and helping her patients feel confident in their smiles.
